Read the quotation by Marcus Garvey. “The only wise thing for us as ambitious Negroes to do, is to…build up for the race a might

y nation of our own in Africa. And this race of ours that cannot get recognition and respect in the country where we were slaves, by using our own ability, power and genius, would develop for ourselves in another country in our habitat a nation of our own.” Based on the quotation, which best describes Garvey’s view on the best way for African Americans to gain “respect and recognition”? to form their own communities in the US to take pride in their American heritage to use their ability, power, and genius to fight for equality in the US to return to Africa and form a new country

What did Louis XVI hope would happen to save his throne?
Anika [276]

Answer:

Louis XVI hoped the European kings would win the war to rescue him.

Explanation:

To understand this we need to remember the context first. Louis XVI was a french king that abused from his power and his people reveled against him because he was simply too ambitious and charged incredibly high taxes that people couldn't pay after difficult times. European emperors like the roman, Prussian, and german ran in a war to France because either they wanted to help him or take advantage of the situation. So, he hoped to be saved by them. But they failed.

Why is this tense time betweeb the US and the Soviet Union called the Cold War?
Debora [2.8K]

Because there was no actual violence occurring. The problem was that the Berlin Wall was up, so the U.S teamed up with Britain and France to fight a “war” by delivering supplies by air dropping it over the wall. So while they were fighting with the gov. In some type of way. There was no real violence going on.
