A conjecture is a statement that you believe to be true, and that has be verified by your observations, not necessarily exhaustively.  That is to say, your conjecture may not even be true, although you believe that it is.

If we denote by S the sum of the first 30 positive even numbers, we could make many conjectures, such as:
S is even
S is positive,
S=930
S is composite
.... etc.

When 2251 voters were polled, 52% said they were voting yes on an initiative measure. find the margin of error and an interval t
expeople1 [14]
The margin of error for a sample proportion is given by
z_{\alpha/2}\sqrt{ \frac{p(1-p)}{n} }
where: z_{\alpha/2} is the z score associated with the confidence level, p is the sample prortion and n is the sample size.
We assume a confidence level of 95%, then z_{\alpha/2}=1.96
p = 52% = 0.52 and n = 2251

Therefore, margin of error =
 z_{\alpha/2}\sqrt{ \frac{p(1-p)}{n} }= 1.96\times \sqrt{ \frac{0.52(1-0.52)}{2251} }  \\ = 1.96\times \sqrt{ \frac{0.52(0.48)}{2251} } = 1.96\times \sqrt{ \frac{0.2496}{2251} } \\  = 1.96\times \sqrt{0.000110884} =1.96\times 0.0105 \\ =0.0206=2.1\%

The the interval that is likely to contain the true population proportion is between 49.9% and 54.1%.

OLEGan [10]

Answer:

The answer to your question is the letter A. 20 ft²

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

length of a side = 10 ft

length of the diameter = 10 ft

length of the radius = 5 ft

Process

1.- Calculate the area of the square

Area of the square = side x side

                                = 10 x 10

                                = 100 ft²

2.- Calculate the area of the circle

Area = πr²

Area of the circle = (3.14)(5)²

Area of the circle = 78.5 ft²

3.- Calculate the remaining area

Remaining area = 100 - 78.5

Remaining area = 21.5 ft²   ≈ 20 ft²

Artemon [7]

Answer:

x = 11

Step-by-step explanation:

• All interior angles in a triangle add up to 180.

• The square in the triangle represents 90°

90 + 45 + 1 + 4x = 180

136 + 4x = 180

4x = 180 - 136

4x = 44

x = 11
