<h3><u>Answer;</u></h3>

A. The pressure is greater at the bottom of the container

<h3><u>Explanation;</u></h3>
  • Pressure is the force acting on a given area.<em><u> Pressure in fluids is given by the product of density, depth and the gravitational acceleration.</u></em>
  • Therefore,<em><u> an increase in the depth of a given fluid, results to a corresponding increase in pressure, and thus the pressure in liquids increases with depths</u></em>.
  • Hence, <em><u>in this case the pressure will be higher a the bottom of the container. </u></em>
  • Additionally, apart from the depth being higher at the bottom of the container resulting to high pressure, the pressure at the bottom of the container is higher because it is the sum of atmospheric pressure and the pressure due to liquid column.

The sum of the initial and final velocity is divided by 2 to find the average.
4vir4ik [10]

The average velocity is obtained by ( u + v)/2.

<h3>What is average velocity?</h3>

The term velocity refers to the rate of change of displacement with time. Velocity is a vector quantity thus it has both magnitude and direction. The velocity of a body could also be shown by the use of the vector notation.

To obtain the average velocity;

Let the initial velocity be u

Let the final velocity be v

It then follows that the average velocity = ( u + v)/2

Calculate the relativistic speed of a particle at a time 6 s after it star t = 0 s . The mass of the particle is 6 × 10-2 kg and
Mars2501 [29]

Answer:

The relativistic speed of a particle is 0.0333\times10^{-5}c

Explanation:

Given that,

Time = 6 sec

Force = 1

Mass of the particle m=6\times10^{-2}\ kg

We need to calculate the acceleration

Using formula of acceleration

a = \dfrac{F}{m}

Put the value into the formula

a=\dfrac{1}{6\times10^{-2}}

a=16.67\ m/s^2

We need to calculate the velocity after 6 sec

Using equation of motion

v = u+at

Put the value

v=0+16.67\times6

v=100\ m/s

The velocity in term of c

v=\dfrac{100c}{3\times10^{8}}

v=3.333\times10^{-7}c

v=0.0333\times10^{-5}c

Hence, The relativistic speed of a particle is 0.0333\times10^{-5}c

The Bullet Train The Shinkansen, the Japanese "bullet" train, runs at high speed from Tokyo to Nagoya. Riding on the Shinkansen,
jeyben [28]

Answer:

68.6 m/s

Explanation:

v = Speed of sound in air = 343 m/s

u = Speed of train

f_1 = Actual frequency

From the Doppler effect we have the observed frequency as

When the train is approaching

f=f_1\frac{v+u}{v}

When the train is receeding

\frac{2f}{3}=f_1\frac{v-u}{v}

Dividing the above equations we have

\frac{f}{\frac{2f}{3}}=\frac{f_1\frac{v+u}{v}}{f_1\frac{v-u}{v}}\\\Rightarrow \frac{3}{2}=\frac{v+u}{v-u}\\\Rightarrow 3v-3u=2v+2u\\\Rightarrow v=5u\\\Rightarrow u=\frac{v}{5}\\\Rightarrow u=\frac{343}{5}\\\Rightarrow u=68.6\ m/s

The speed of the train is 68.6 m/s

The inductor in the RLC tuning circuit of an AM radio has a value of 250 mHmH . You may want to review (Pages 857 - 860) . Part
ANEK [815]

Answer:

The value of variable capacitor is 1.89 \times 10^{-13} F

Explanation:

Given :

Inductance L = 250 \times 10^{-3} H

Frequency f = 731 \times 10^{3} Hz

According to the cutoff frequency,

   f = \frac{1}{2\pi \sqrt{LC} }

Now we find the value of capacitance,

  C = \frac{1}{4\pi ^{2} f^{2}  L }

  C = \frac{1}{4\times 9.85 \times (731 \times 10^{3} )^{2} \times 250 \times 10^{-3}  }

  C = 1.89 \times 10^{-13} F

Therefore, the value of variable capacitor is 1.89 \times 10^{-13} F

How might temperature near ocean compare with those in land in winter ? In summer
omeli [17]
Well when your by the ocean your near more water. Snow is made of water. When you are next to a larger body of water you are most likely going to get more snow then if not living by a larger body of water.

In other words... The snow is taken from the ocean whereas kansas wouldnt have an ocean so they wouldn't get as much snow as somewhere like Pennsylvania.
