The only relationship between 2a and 2b is 2 because a is not related to be because the unknown number a is labled differently than the unkown number of b. and the relationship of -2a and -2b is -2, they are just playing head games this is a lot more simple than it looks.
good luck with the assignment

GUYSSSSS!!!! PLEASE I NEED HELP RIGHT NOWW!!! HELP PLEASE!

Answer:

\angle ABC=20^{\circ}

Step-by-step explanation:

Since each side of a line is 180 degrees, we can write the following system of equations:

\begin{cases}2x+12y+x+2y=180,\\x+2y+8y-4x=180\end{cases},\\\begin{cases}3x+14y=180,\\-3x+10y=180\end{cases}

Add both equations to solve for y:

24y=360,\\y=\frac{360}{24}=15

Now substitute y=15 into 3x+14y=180 to solve for x:

3x+14(15)=180,\\3x=-30,\\x=-10

Finish by substituting both variables to solve for \angle ABC:

\angle ABC=x+2y,\\\angle ABC=-10+2(15),\\\angle ABC=-10+30=\boxed{20^{\circ}}

You are planning to put a new digital flat t.v on a wall that is 12ft long and 9ft high. the digital t.v has a diagonal of 72 in
Pie
Area of wall = 9 * 12 = 108 ft^2
Width of TV = x
Lenght = 2x
Diagonal of TV = 72 " = 6 ft

x^2+(2x)^2=6^2
x^2+4x^2=36
5x^2=35
x^2=36/5
x=sqrt(36/5)
Width = 2.68 ft.
Length = 2.68 * 5.36 = 14.36 ft^2
Area of wall - area of tv = 108 - 14.36 = 93.64 ft
