Answer:

0.955T

Explanation:

The effect on the period in case when there is a decrease in length by 7.85%

Let us assume the following items

Period = T

T= Beginning period

L = Beginning length

T' = Final period

L' = Final length

Based on the above information

As we know that

\frac {T'}{T} = \sqrt {\frac {L'}{L}}\\\\  L' = \frac {100-7.85}{100} \\\\ L = 0.9215 \: L

Therefore

\frac {T'}{T} = \sqrt {\frac {0.9215L}{L}} \\\\= 0.955\ T

Hence, the effect on the period is 0.955T

How does kinect energy affect the stopping distance of a vehicle traveling at 30 mph compared to the same vehicle traveling at 6
mote1985 [20]

If it is the same vehicle, then the 60mph vehicle has more kinetic energy since it is moving faster. Therefore, it requires more energy to stop, and if it is the same car with the same beak system, the braking distance of the 30mph car will be significantly shorter than the 60mph car.

If a scale on Earth reads 650 N, what is your mass?
OlgaM077 [116]
If the scale reads 650N, then the mass of whoever it is standing on the scale is

         (weight) / (gravity)  =  (650N) / (9.8 m/s²)  =  66.3 kilograms  .

It's not MY mass, even if I'm the one standing on the scale.
If I stand on a scale and it reads 650 N, the scale is broken.

If a roller coaster train has a potential energy of 1,500 J and a kinetic energy of 500 J as it starts to travel downhill, what
DENIUS [597]

Its total mechanical energy is <em>2,000 J</em>.

We don't have enough information to say anything about its heat energy, its chemical energy, or the energy due to any electrical charge it may be carrying or any magnetic field it may have.
