There are many concepts that take time to understand and these concepts may not be explained very well by teachers because of how difficult it is to explain them. Also, many students are not good at basic algebra resulting in them finding the course hard. One can improve by practicing many physics problems and if they are still struggling then they should take time to discuss them with their teachers

Physics can demand that you start with a specific result and make general rules. Not reading the text and not solving exercises makes understanding almost impossible. It also involves a lot of math which most people do not like.

What was his average swimming speed during the second half of the race if he tied the record, which was at an average speed of 2
Nimfa-mama [501]

I believe this question has additional detail which stated that during the 1st half, his speed was 2.01 m/s. From this we can calculate his speed during the second half, v2, using the formula:

v_ave = (v1 + v2) / 2

2.05 m/s = (2.01 m/s + v2) / 2

v2 = 2.09 m/s

Starting at t = 0 a net external force in the +x-direction is applied to an object that has mass 5.00 kg. A graph of the force a
Reptile [31]

Answer:

 15√2 N

Explanation:

The acceleration is given by ...

 a = F/m = 5t/5 = t . . . . meters/second^2

The velocity is the integral of acceleration:

 v = ∫a·dt = (1/2)t^2

This will be 9 m/s when ...

 9 = (1/2)t^2

 t = √18 . . . . seconds

And the force at that time is ...

 F = 5(√18) = 15√2 . . . . newtons

Which of the following is an explanation of how the natural world works, based on experimentation?
ANTONII [103]

The explanation of how the natural world works based on experimentation is ;A theory ( D )

A theory is proportionally related to an experiment because a theory is an informed /phenomenon based on facts approved or disproved by an experiment.

Therefore an explanation of how the natural world works should be factual based on experimentation. and not an opinion, while a law in science is developed based on ideal conditions and not natural world conditions.

Hence we can conclude that The explanation of how the natural world works based on experimentation is A theory.

The end diastolic volume of a heart is 140 mL Assume that it is a sphere. At end diastole, the intraventricular pressure is 7mmI
Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

We know that, V = 140 mL = 0.00014 m3

Assume that it is a sphere. so, we have

V = (4/3) \pir3

r3 = (0.00014 m3) (3) / (4) (3.14)

r = \sqrt[3]{}\sqrt[3]{}3\sqrt{}3.34 x 10-5 m3

r = 1.93 x 10-7 m

(a) The wall tension at end diastole will be given as :

using a formula, we have

T = P r / 2 H

where, P = intraventricular pressure at end diastole = 7 mmHg = 933.2 Pa

H = wall thickness at this time = 0.011 m

then, we get

T = (933.2 Pa) (1.93 x 10-7 m) / 2 (0.011 m)

T = 8.18 x 10-3 N

(b) The wall tension at the end of isovolumetric contraction will be given as :

using a formula, we have

T = P r / 2 H

where, P = intraventricular pressure at end of isovolumetric contraction = 80 mmHg = 10665.7 Pa

H = wall thickness at this time = 0.011 m

then, we get

T = (10665.7 Pa) (1.93 x 10-7 m) / 2 (0.011 m)

T = 9.35 x 10-2 N

(d) The wall stress from A and B which will be given as :

we know that, \sigma = T / w

For part A, we have

\sigmaA = (8.18 x 10-3 N) / (0.011 m)

\sigmaA = 0.743 N/m

For part B, we have

\sigmaB = (9.35 x 10-2 N) / (0.011 m)

\sigmaB = 8.5 N/m

3x+5=20

What is the Answer
Vladimir [108]

3x+5=20

you have to be able to get the x by its self so you have to subtract the 5 from both sides. 3x=20-5 3x=15. then after you have to get rid of the 3 next to the x do the opposite of multiplying which is dividing on both sides 3x/3=15/3 and the final answer is 5
