The value of \log _{6}(36) is 2.

Solution:

Given expression is \log _{6}(36).

<u>To evaluate the expression:</u>

\log _{6}(36)

36 can be written as 6².

       =\log _{6}\left(6^{2}\right)

Using log rule: \log _{a}\left(x^{b}\right)=b \cdot \log _{a}(x)

       =2 \log _{6}(6)

Using log rule: \log _{a}(a)=1 so that \log _{6}(6)=1

       = 2(1)

       = 2

\log _{6}(36)=2

Hence the value of \log _{6}(36) is 2.

Given:

The figure of rectangle.

To find:

a. The diagonal of the rectangle.

b. The area of the rectangle.

c. perimeter of the rectangle.

Solution:

(a)

In a right angle triangle,

\sin \theta=\dfrac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}

\sin 30=\dfrac{12}{Hypotenuse}

\dfrac{1}{2}=\dfrac{12}{Hypotenuse}

Hypotenuse=12\times 2

Hypotenuse=24

So, the diagonal of the of the rectangle is 24 units.

(b)

In a right angle triangle,

\tan \theta=\dfrac{Perpendicular}{Base}

\tan 30=\dfrac{12}{Base}

\dfrac{1}{\sqrt{3}}=\dfrac{12}{Base}

Base=12\sqrt{3}

Length of the rectangle is 12 and width of the rectangle is 12\sqrt{3}. So, the area of the rectangle is:

Area=length \times width

Area=12 \times 12\sqrt{3}

Area=144\sqrt{3}

So, the area of the rectangle is 144\sqrt{3} sq. units.

(c)

Perimeter of the rectangle is:

P=2(length+width)

P=2(12+12\sqrt{3})

P=24+24\sqrt{3}

P\approx 65.57

Therefore, the perimeter of the rectangle is about 65.57 units.

Will someone please help me out with this problem I don’t remember how to do these
forsale [732]

First, we get the area of the whole rectangle, easy enough:

18 * 16 = 288 cm²

Now, for the area of the circle, we use the circle area formula:

Area = pi * r²

Area = 3.14 * 6² = 3.14 * 36 = 113.04cm²

Now we substract the circle area from the rectangle area:

Shaded region = 288 - 113.04 = 174.96cm²
