secondary voltage = primary voltage · (secondary turns / primary turns)secondary turns = (secondary voltage / primary voltage) ·

primary turnssecondary turns = (9600-V AC / 120-V AC) · 100 turnsThe transformer supplying power to an artist's light sculpture provides 9600-V AC when supplied by 120-V AC. If there are 100 turns in the transformer's primary coil, how many turns are there in its secondary coil?

Answer:

8000 turns

Explanation:

the relation between number of turns of primary and secondary coils and the respective voltages are given as

N1/N2=V1/V2

Where,

•N1 is no. of turns in primary coil

•N2 is no. of turns in secondary coil

•V1 is voltage in primary coil ie, Input voltage

•V2 is voltage in secondary coil ie, Output voltage

from the question we get,

V1=120 V

V2=9600 V

N1=100 turns

N2 = N1 x (V2/V1)

= 100 x (9600/120)

= 100 x 80

= 8000

So, No. of turns in secondary coil= 8000

What is the final concentration of DD at equilibrium if the initial concentrations are [A][A]A_i = 1.00 MM and [B][B]B_i = 2.00
pentagon [3]

Answer:

A) Concentration of A left at equilibrium of we started the reaction with [A] = 2.00 M and [B] = 2.00 M is 0.55 M.

B) Final concentration of D at equilibrium if the initial concentrations are [A] = 1.00 M and [B] = 2.00 M is 0.90 M.

[D] = 0.90 M

Explanation:

With the first assumption that the volume of reacting mixture doesn't change throughout the reaction.

This allows us to use concentration in mol/L interchangeably with number of moles in stoichiometric calculations.

- The first attached image contains the correct question.

- The solution to part A is presented in the second attached image.

- The solution to part B is presented in the third attached image.

An alpha particle (a helium nucleus, consisting of two protons and two neutrons) has a radius of approximately 1.6 × 10-15 m. A
Snezhnost [94]

Answer:

9.96x10^-20 kg-m/s

Explanation:

Momentum p is the product of mass and velocity, i.e

P = mv

Alpha particles, like helium nuclei, have a net spin of zero. Due to the mechanism of their production in standard alpha radioactive decay, alpha particles generally have a kinetic energy of about 5 MeV, and a velocity in the vicinity of 5% the speed of light.

From this we calculate the speed as

v = 5% 0f 3x10^8 m/s (speed of light)

v = 1.5x10^7 m/s

The mass of an alpha particle is approximately 6.64×10−27 kg

Therefore,

P = 1.5x10^7 x 6.64×10^−27

P = 9.96x10^-20 kg-m/s

iVinArrow [24]

Given :

You fire a paintball from a paintball gun straight up into the air at 25.0 m/s.

To Find :

What is the ball velocity at the higher point that the ball reaches.

Solution :

We know, when ball is moving upward acceleration due to gravity is applied downward.

So, the ball will decelerate and when ball reaches maximum height its velocity will become zero.

Therefore, ball velocity is 0 m/s at maximum height.

Hence, this is the required solution.
