Just do a line crossing another in a angle of 90°

1 is linear pair with 2, 2 is linear pair with 3, 3 is linear pair with 4 and 4 is linear pair with 1.

1. A limited-edition soccer ball costs $30, and the<br> sales tax is 6%. What is the total cost?
ra1l [238]

Answer:

$31.80

Step-by-step explanation:

The ball will cost 100% of its price plus 6% of its price for a total of 106%.

To use percentages as a factor and multiply, they must be divide by 100, making the multiplication factor version of 106% 1.06.

Multiply the cost of the ball by your multiplication factor:

30 x 1.06 = 31.8

Money is written to two decimal places, making your answer $31.80

A farmer grows corn, tomatoes, and sunflowers on a 320-acre farm. This year, the farmer wants to plant twice as many acres of to
svet-max [94.6K]
Set it up with variables; tomatoes=t, sunflowers=s, corn=c

320=t+s+c

This year;
t=2s
c=t+40

so, replace 2s for t; c=2s+40

now we can put those factors in for 320=t+c+s

320= 2s+2s+40+s
(SIMPLIFY)---> 320=5s+40----> 5s+280----> s=56

now incorporate the s value into the other equations.

c=2s+40----> c=56(2)=40 ----> c=152
t=2s -----> t=2(56) ----> t=112

TOMATOES= 112 acres
CORN= 152 acres
SUNFLOWERS= 56 acres

To check your work: 320=t+s+c ----> 320=112+156+56

Please help me :((( it’s geometry
NikAS [45]

\tt Step-by-step~explanation:

\tt Area:

To solve for the area of a triangle, we multiply the length and height, then divide that by two. L = 10. H = 7.

\tt 10*7=70\\70/2=35\\35=A

\tt Perimeter:

\tt Step~1:

To solve for the perimeter, or edges, of the triangle, we need to use the Pythagorean Theorem: a² + b² = c² to solve for the third side. We already know two measures: 10 and 7. Now we need to square them, add them together to get c², then take the root of that number.

\tt 7^2=49\\10^2=100\\100+49=\sqrt{149}\\\sqrt{149

We cannot simplify √149, so we either leave it, or round it.

\tt \sqrt{149}\\12.2066

This is rounded to the nearest 10,000.

\tt Step~2:

Now that we have the measure of the longest side, we can add all three sides together to get the perimeter of the triangle.

\tt 10+7+\sqrt{149}=17+\sqrt{149}=P\\Rounded~to~the~nearest~1,000th:~29.207=P

\large\boxed{\tt Our~final~answer: ~A=35,~P=17+\sqrt{149}}

Find the perimeter of the triangle shown using the Associative proprety. 4 1/2 in 5 1/2in 6 in
torisob [31]
So assumn that the measures given are the legnths of the sides
perimiter=side1+side2+side3
so
side1=4 and 1/2
side2=5 and 1/2
side3=6
subsitute
p=(4+1/2)+(5+1/2)+(6)
associative prpoerty says (a+b)+c=a+(b+c) (it deals with addiont with parenthasees)
p=4+1/2+5+1/2+6
p=4+5+1/2+1/2+6
p=9+1+6
p=10+6
p=16 inches
