3 moles of water i.e. 54 gram of water is produced by starting the reaction with 99 grams of NO

Explanation:

The reaction to produce ammonia is shown below:

2NO + 5H2 → 2NH3 +2 H2O

From the reaction it is seen that NO is the limiting reagent in the reaction.

Atomic weight of NO=30.01 g/mol

the weight of NO in reaction is given 90 grams

Number of moles= 90÷30.01

                             = 2.99 or 3  moles of NO

It can be seen that 3 moles of NO is taking part in the reaction.

From the chemical equation it is seen that 2 moles of NO will yield 2 moles of water and 2 moles of ammonia.

From the stoichiometry:

2 moles of NO will yield 2 moles of H_{2}O

3 moles of NO will yield x moles of H{2}O

x= 3 moles

The weight of water produced can be obtained by the formula

Number of moles= weight ÷atomic weight

     weight= 18×3

                 = 54 grams

What is hydrogen role in nuclear fusion?
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

Fusion powers the Sun and stars as hydrogen atoms fuse together to form helium, and matter is converted into energy. Hydrogen, heated to very high temperatures changes from a gas to a plasma in which the negatively-charged electrons are separated from the positively-charged atomic nuclei (ions).

I hope it's helpful!

How could getting so much food from
the ocean negatively impact marine
ecosystems?
kumpel [21]
Marine food chains at risk of collapse, extensive study of world's oceans finds. ... The acidification of the ocean, where the pH of water drops as it absorbs carbon dioxide, will make it hard for creatures such as coral, oysters and mussels to form the shells and structures that sustain them.

If you could help me that would be awesome
elixir [45]
There are 3 significant figures. Significant numbers are the numbers that build up your total number. 1-9 always count, 0 only counts if it’s after another number. For example: 0,901 has 3 significant numbers as does 0,910. 9,10 also has 3. 0,09 has just 1.
