The diameter of the cylinder given = 3 yd.

the height given = 4 yd.

The radius is half of the diameter. So, the radius of the cylinder = (3/2)yd.

The formula to find the volume of the cylinder = \pi r^2h

Where, r = radius, and h = height.

Now we can find the volume by plugging in the values of r and h in the formula.

The required volume of the cylinder

= \pi r^2h

= \pi (3/2)^2 (4)

= \pi (9/4) 4

= 36\pi /4

= 9\pi

Volume of the cylinder = 9\pi  yd^3 = 27.3 yd³

Find all 6 trig functions given the terminal side goes through point (0,-3)
d1i1m1o1n [39]
So hmm notice the picture below

that's (0, -3)

now, keep in mind, adjacent is 0, opposite is -3, and hypotenuse, or radius, is 3

and recall  sin(\theta)=\cfrac{opposite}{hypotenuse}
\qquad \qquad
% cosine
cos(\theta)=\cfrac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}

\\ \quad \\\\
% tangent
tan(\theta)=\cfrac{opposite}{adjacent}
\qquad \qquad
% cotangent
cot(\theta)=\cfrac{adjacent}{opposite}
\\ \quad \\

% cosecant
csc(\theta)=\cfrac{hypotenuse}{opposite}
\qquad \qquad
% secant
sec(\theta)=\cfrac{hypotenuse}{adjacent}

Which ordered pair will be the solution for the function y = 12 - x?
EastWind [94]
The answer should be (6,6), you can plug 6 in for both x and y in order to solve the function.

y=12-x
(6)= 12 - (6)
6=6

Find the Missing point, given the slope. (Hint: Set up an equation and solve) (-2, y^1), (6, 7) Slope = 1/2
ziro4ka [17]
<span>(-2, y1), (6, 7) Slope = 1/2

slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
1/2 = (7 - y1) / (6 - -2)
1/2 = (7-y1) / 8
7-y1  = 8/2
7-y1 = 4
y1 = 7 - 4
y1 = 3

Answer: </span><span>(-2, 3), (6, 7) with Slope = 1/2

</span>proof:
slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
slope =  (7 - 3) / (6 - -2)
slope = 4/8
slope = 1/2
