While when rounding go to the thousands and ten thousands , in this case. So... u want to have a number closest to the 8 without going over in the ten thousand place. That would be the 7.

The leftover numbers are 0,5,9, and 0. Now we want any number 5 or over in the thousands place. It could either be 5 or 9. I'm going to choose 9.

So far we have 79,??? The leftover numbers are 0,5, and 0. Now put the highest leftover number next... the 5. Then go ahead and put the two 0s at the end of the number.

Our answer would be 79,500. Rounded to the nearest ten thousand it would be 80,000.

Hey mate!
You stuck, huh?

A 5-digit number has the digits 0,5,7,9 and 0 could equal to, 79,500.
For you do understand why this number rounds to 80,000, we can take out the last 3 digits in each number. Therefore leaving you with, 79 an 80. As you can see, 79 can round to 80 because of it's value. Thus, you have your answer!

Hope this helps!

What is the length of x in the diagram below?
luda_lava [24]

Answer:

That is a 45-45-90 triangle next to a 30-60-90 triangle.

So, the height of the left triangle equals 5.

That makes the short side of the 30-60-90 triangle also equal to 5.

In a 30-60-90 triangle, the hypotenuse (or "x") is exactly twice the length of the shortest side.

Therefore, the hypotenuse (or "x") equals 10.

Can you Solve. 3x^2+10x+3
Alika [10]
You cannot solve for x but you can factor

to solve in ax^2+bx+c form you must find
b=x+y
a times c=x times y

so solve

3 times 3=9

what 2 number multily to get 9 and add to get 10
9=x times y
the numbers are 9 and 1 so

3x^2+1x+9x+3
(3x^2+1x)+(9x+3)
factor
(x)(3x+1)+(3)(3x+1)
reverse distribute
ab+ac=a(b+c)

(x)(3x+1)+(3)(3x+1)=(x+3)(3x+1)
factored out form is (x+3)(3x+1)
