A particular brand of gasoline has a density of 0.737 g/ml at 25 ∘c. how many grams of this gasoline would fill a 14.1 gal tank?

Chemistry

Density is defined as the mass per unit volume,
mass of the solution is therefore
mass = density x volume
1 gal = 3785.41 mL
therefore 14.1 gal = 3785.41 x 14.1 = 53 374.3 mL
mass of gasoline required = 0.737 g/mL x 53 374.3 mL
mass of gasoline required to fill the tank - 39 337 g = 39.3 kg
39.3 kg of gasoline is required

Predict the products and write the balanced chemical equation for this reaction. Include the physical state of the product(s).
sukhopar [10]

Answer:

Al(C2H3O2)3 (aq) + 3AgNO3 (aq) ------>Al(NO3)3(aq) + 3Ag(C2H3O2)(s)

Explanation:

A chemical reaction refers to an interaction between two or more chemical species that leads to the formation of other new chemical species.

There are many types of chemical reactions. The type shown above is called a double replacement reaction. In this type of reaction, ions exchange partners in the product.

A chemical reaction is said to be balanced when the number of atoms of each element on the left hand and right hand sides of the reaction equation are exactly the same.

Which transition metals usually form only one monatomic cation? select all that apply.
lyudmila [28]

Zn, Cd, and Ag are transition metals that usually form only one monoatomic cation.

A monatomic cation is a cation made of only one atom.

Cations are positively charged ions, in this example Ag⁺, Cd²⁺ and Zn²⁺.

These cations form only one type of ion, while iron and copper form more than one type of cations.

Iron and copper form cations with different charges (Fe²⁺, Fe³⁺, Cu⁺, Cu²⁺).

It depends on electron configuration which type would be formed.

Electron configuration of zinc atom: ₃₀Zn 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s² 3p⁶ 3d¹⁰ 4s²

Transition metals are elements in the d-block of the Periodic table.
