When reactants and products are being formed at an equal rate in a chemical reaction, the ____. a. reaction is endergonic b. fre
attashe74 [19]
<h2>The answer is option b "free energy is zero"</h2>

Explanation

  • The reaction that has negative free energy are called exergonic reactions that means the reactants have more free energy than the product formed.
  • The reaction that has positive free energy are called endergonic reactions that means the final state or the products formed have more free energy than the initial state or the reactants.
  • The reaction that has zero free energy occurs when the free energy of both reactants and the products are same hence the rate of formation of products and reactants are equal.
  • Therefore, when reactants and products are being formed at an equal rate the free energy is zero.

Why are there many visible craters on the moon but few on earth?
Crank
From what I remember, the moon has little to no atmosphere, this means that if an asteroid came hurling towards it, there would be nothing between it and the asteroid, so it would just come crashing down to the moon. Whereas the Earth has a much thicker atmosphere than the moon and if a asteroid came hurling towards the Earth, it would most likely burn up or break apart in the atmosphere before it reached the earths surface.

I hope this helped! :-)

Why dose a small container have more pressure than a large container of both have the same amount of gas in them
Volgvan
Because in a smaller container, there is less room for the gas to exist. the gas much all push together closer to fit in the smaller container. as gas atoms, they have less room to bounce around. in a bigger container, it has more room to more and is less pressurized

Empirical formula of ch2 and molar formula of 56 grams what is molecular formula
attashe74 [19]
<span>One mole of carbon weighs 12 grams and one mole of hydrogen weighs 1 gram. Therefore, one mole of CH2 weighs 12 + 1 + 1 = 14 grams.

56 divided by 14 = 4

Therefore, you need 4 "moles" of CH2 to equal 56 grams of the unknown substance. To get the equivalent of 4 "moles" of CH2 you need one mole of C4H8.

Hope this helps :)
