True, that is a document that is left to a person over 18 years old, who may be a family member or not, that person may be able to make decisions for the patient if he or she loses the ability to make decisions for themselves. When designating a healthcare agent, you can make sure that the medical professionals respect the patient´s wishes. The agent can also decide how wishes can be applied as the illness changes. Hospitals, doctors and others medical professionals must follow the decisions of the health agent if they were the patient´s

A close evolutionary relationship between annelids and mollusks is suggested by the presence of a _____ larva in both phyla as w
worty [1.4K]

Answer:

trocophore larva

Explanation:

The trocophore larva is a marine planktonic larvae. The mollusca, annelida, and nemerteans shows trocophore as larval stage.

The trocophore larva shows similarities with invertebrates group of organisms. This similarities provide evidence that bilateral symmetry organisms evolved from radial symmetry. The larva represents a transitional stage in ctenophore emergence. There are close similarities in trocophore larva and annelid larva (echinoderm). Thus, a close evolutionary relationship between annelids and mollusks is suggested by the presence of a trocophore larva in both phyla as well as by molecular sequence comparisons.

Children receive half of their genes from each parent. Does this mean that all children born to a couple will have half their mo
Alenkasestr [34]
Yes! They get 50% of their genes from their mother & 50% from their father. However, if we’re talking about physical traits then no. Your mother MIGHT have more dominant genes whereas your father MIGHT have more recessive genes. Hope this helps!

A DNA sample is anyalyzed and you find that 22% is cytosine. How much thymine would be in the same cell?
Maru [420]

Answer:

28% Thymine

Explanation:

DNA molecule is made up of four nucleotides namely: Adenine (A), Thymine (T), Cytosine (C), and Guanine (G). These nucleotides make up the DNA molecule unevenly, however, according to Chargaff in his rule, he stated that the amount of Adenine&Thymine, Guanine& Cytosine in a DNA must be equal, which must all equate to 100% i.e. (A = T) + (G = C) = 100%

Based on this Chargaff's rule, if a DNA sample is analyzed and found to contain 22% of cytosine. This means that the amount of Guanine in that DNA sample must also be 22%.

Therefore; 22% C + 22% G = 44%

100 - 44 = 56%. This means that Adenine and Thymine will share this 56% among each other i.e. 56/2 = 28% Adenine and 28% Thymine.
