The Frontal Cortex is the most recently evolved part in the brain and the last to develop in young adulthood. The human brain isn’t fully developed until 25years of age. Everything is there except for the frontal cortex, which is the last thing to mature. As the prefrontal cortex matures, teenagers can reason better, develop more control over impulses and make judgments better.
