Answer:

-60

It is -60 because if it takes away 6 points for each cone you hit and you hit 10, then it would be -60 times 10, which equals -60.

alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

(Véase la explicación para mayores detalles/See the explanation for further details)

Step-by-step explanation:

a) Tres al cubo (Three to cube):

x = 3 \times 3 \times 3

x = 3^{3}

x = 27

b) Seis al cubo (Six to cube):

x = 6 \times 6 \times 6

x = 6^{3}

x = 216

c) Cinco al cuadrado (Five squared):

x = 5 \times 5

x = 5^{2}

x = 25

d) Ocho al cuadrado (Eight squared):

x = 8 \times 8

x = 8^{2}

x = 64

e) Dos a la quinta (Two to five):

x = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2

x = 2^{5}

x = 32

f) Diez a la cuarta (Ten to four):

x = 10\times 10 \times 10 \times 10

x = 10^{4}

x = 10000

W+3 3/8=1 5/6 what is the answer
Annette [7]

W + 3 3/8 = 1 5/6;

W = 1 5/6 - 3 3/8;

W = 11/6 - 27/8;

W = 11/(2*3) - 27/(2*4);

W = (11*4 - 27*3)/(2*3*4);

W = (44 - 81)/24;

W = -37/24 = -1 13/24;

Three consecutive integers can be represented by the variable n, n+1 and n+2. If the sum of three consecutive integers is 57, wh
pashok25 [27]
You have some unknown integer n, and you know that adding this and the next two integers, n+1 and n+2, gives a total of 57.

This means

n+(n+1)+(n+2)=57

The task is to find all three unknown integers. Notice that if you know the value of n, then you pretty much know the value of the other three integers.

To find n, solve the equation above:

n+(n+1)+(n+2)=3n+3=57\implies 3n=54\implies n=\dfrac{54}3=18

So if 18 is the first integer, then others must be 19 and 20.

How can you tell if two equations for parallel lines or perpendicular lines. please explain?
kicyunya [14]
To find out if they are parallel we need to see if the gradient is the same, to do this we need to get y in terms of x:
assuming the first equation is x+y+7=0
y=-x-7
and
y=x-3
The gradient is the coefficient of x (the number infront of x)
For equation 1 the gradient is -1, and for number 2 it is 1, therefore they are not parallel.
However to check if they are perpendicular we need to see if their gradients multiply to equal -1.
-1*1=-1 therefore they are perpendicular
