Which of the following is a Healthy People 2020 objective? a. Increase vegetables, fruits, and whole grains, solid fats and adde
prisoha [69]

Answer:

b. Increase the number of schools offering breakfast.

Explanation:

Healthy People 2020 is a US federal government program put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services to promote prevention of chronic and acute disease for US citizens of all ages.

Healthy People 2020 has over 1300 specific objectives, one of which includes increasing the number of schools offering breakfast. This is an important objective as unfortunately not all children are given a nutritious breakfast by their parents due to poverty, negligence, etc. Providing breakfast at school at no cost or a reduce cost would benefit children as a nutritious breakfast would provide them with better health and nutrition levels, in addition to starting their day with sustenance .

Option a is incorrect as solid fats and added sugars should be minimized as they are unhealthy foods.

Option c is incorrect as it is important to increase the proportion of children, adolescents, and adults who are at a healthy weight.

Option d is incorrect as it is important to increase the proportion of schools that require daily physical education for all students.

fredd [130]
According to the relationship between force and acceleration, described in Newton's 2nd law of motion, increasing the force of the object would also increase the objects acceleration in the same direction to which the force is applied. It essentially starts to move even faster, than it had been before. Since the object is accelerating it changing its speed at an even faster rate.
