It's been a while since I've done this stuff... I'm pretty confident 3. is decibels. 2 could be perception (because perception is the pitch that a human hear designates to the frequency it receives). I'm unsure about the first one.

What is a empirical formula
kodGreya [7K]

Answer:

The empirical formula of a compound is the simplest whole number ratio of atoms of each element in the compound. It is determined using data from experiments and therefore empirical.

For example, the molecular formula of glucose is C 6H 12O 6 but the empirical formula is CH 2O.

Ugo [173]

Answer:

-3.617 °C

Explanation:

Step 1: Given data

Mass of water (m): 210.0 g

Energy released in the form of heat (Q): -3178 J (the minus sign corresponds to energy being released)

Specific heat of water (c): 4.184 J/g.°C

Temperature change (ΔT): ?

Step 2: Calculate the temperature change

We will use the following expression.

Q = c × m × ΔT

-3178 J = 4.184 J/g.°C × 210.0 g × ΔT

ΔT = -3.617 °C
