Answer: 0.15M

Explanation:

The expression used will be :

M_1V_1=M_2V_2

where,

M_1 = concentration of stock solution = 0.30 M

M_2 = concentration of dilute solution = ?

V_1 = volume of stock solution = 25 ml

V_2 = volume of dilute solution= 50 ml

Now put all the given values in the above law, we get :

(0.30M\times 25ml=(M_2\times 50ml)

By solving the terms, we get :

M_2=0.15M

Therefore, the concentration of new solution will be 0.15 M.

A sample of seawater has 0.075 g of sodium chloride per mL of solution. How many moles of sodium chloride are there per liter of
amm1812

Answer:

1.28 mol

Explanation:

mole = mass/molar mass

n = v/v/cm³

mass = 0. 075g

v = 1dm³ =1000cm³

n= m/MV=0.075/58.44(1000)

n =1.28 mol

If the compound has a molar mass of 156 g/mol, what is its molecular formula?
oksano4ka [1.4K]
I believe that the choices for this question are:
C2H4O2, C4H8O4 CH2O, C6H12O6 C3H6O3, C6H12O6 C2H4O2, C6H12O6

The answer to this based on the molar masses given is:
C2H4O2, C6H12O6

To prove calculate the molar mass:
C2H4O2 = 2*12 + 4*1 + 2*16 = 60
C6H12O6 = 6*12 + 12*1 + 6*16 = 180

Hello!

According to the Charles' Law, the volume of a gas is proportional to temperature when pressure is constant. When going from New York to Florida, if the pressure is left constant the volume of the tires will increase.

The final volume of the tires can be calculated from the following equation, derived from Charles' Law:

V2= \frac{V1}{T1}*T2=\frac{10 L}{10degC}*32degC=32 L

Have a nice day!
