The area of a parallelogram is equal to the base times the height.

In terms of algebra
A = b*h

We know the base is b = 8.2,the area is A = 65.6, though we don't know the height h. We can use algebra to solve

A = b*h
65.6 = 8.2*h
8.2*h = 65.6
8.2*h/8.2 = 65.6/8.2 <--- divide both sides by 8.2
h = 8

The height of the parallelogram is 8 inches

Question in pic. please help!
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

Answer:

Arranging from longest (at top) to shortest (at bottom)

DF

EF

DE

Step-by-step explanation:

We need to place the sides of triangle DE, DF and EF from longest to shortest.

The triangle has longest side that is opposite to the largest angle

We know two angles < E= 61° , <F= 59° we need to find <D

Sum of angles of triangle = 180°

So, 61°+59°+<D=180°

120°+<D=180°

<D=180°-120°

<D=60°

So, the largest angle is <E= 61°

The longest side must be opposite to <E so, the side is DF

The second largest angle is <D=60° so, second side will be EF

The smallest angle is <F=59° so, third (shortest) side will be DE

Arranging from longest (at top) to shortest (at bottom)

DF

EF

DE

There is no association between the chicken preferences and rice preferences. Option C

What is association?

There is an association between two variables when they both decrease or increase simultaneously. In many cases, the association between the variables can be shown using the correlation coefficient when the relationship is plotted on Cartesian coordinates.

If we look at the table, we can see that there is no association between the chicken preferences and rice preferences because because the proportion of chicken and rice eaters to all chicken eaters is lower than all rice eaters to all eaters; and because the proportion of chicken and rice eaters to all rice eaters is lower than all chicken eaters to all eaters.
