While certain other aspects, like stress level, may be addressed, they are not totally under our control.

Contrarily, some risk factors are under your control, such using tobacco, alcohol, cocaine, and other substances. When talking about premature births and infant mortality, it's important to keep in mind the crucial problem of the absence of universal access to high-quality prenatal care.

Additionally, because approximately 50% of pregnancies in the US are unplanned, some women may not discover they are expecting in time to receive early prenatal care, which may contribute to the high rate of premature births in our nation.
