This may help:

There are $\frac{1}{3}$ gallons of lemonade.

Two friends share the lemonade.

What fraction of the lemonade does each friend receive?

To solve you do kcf or keep change flip.

You keep $\frac{1}{3}$ and change division to multiplication.

Then $\frac{2}{1}$ is changed to $\frac{1}{2}$

The answer would be $\frac{1}{6}$

Yeah, mostly is has to be negative, but in some cases a is greater than 1 than we do some other operations.
