The Penicillin group of antibiotics has poor solubility and poor oral bioavailability. Penicillin are usually used for external purposes, penicillin tablet is crushed until it becomes powder-like before applying to the area of concern. Other types of penicillin is produced as fluid to be injected directly to the veins.
