A) Let the no. of flats be x

=> 7:4 :: 49 : x

<u><em>Writing it in fraction form</em></u>

=> \frac{7}{4} = \frac{49}{x}

<em>Cross Multiplying</em>

=> 7x = 196

<em>Dividing both sides by 7</em>

=> x = 28 flats

B) I got the answer by simply taking the proportion.
