Answer:

x=16

Step-by-step explanation:

Because this is an isosceles triangle the angle 2x+3 is the same as the missing angle. The angles in triangles add up to 180 degrees. 180-110=70.

Because the two angles are the same you can divide 70 by 2 to get 35.

35=2x+3.

35-3=2x+3-3

32=2x

32/2=2x/2

16=x

Since the triangle is an isosceles triangle, it’s base angles are equal which means two angles are 2x+3 and other angle is 110
Then
2x+3+2x+3+110=180(sum of angles of triangle)
4x+6=180-110
4x+6=70
4x=70-6
4x=64
x=64/4
x=16

The area of a circle is 616cm find the radius
Leokris [45]
<h3>Given :-</h3>

  • Area of Circle = 616 cm²

<h3>To Find :-</h3>

  • Radius of a circle = ?

<h3>Solution :-</h3>

☼︎ <u>Radius of the Circle</u>;

<h3>Using Formula:</h3>

\\ \red\bigstar {\underline{\boxed{\color{springgreen}{\textsf{ \textbf{ \: Area \: of \: circle= \:  \: π \:  r \: ² \: }}}}}} \\\\

<u>Putting values in the formula;</u>

\\  \sf \implies \: Area \:  =  \: \pi \: r \:  ^{2}  \\

\\  \sf \implies \: 616 \:  =  \:\frac{22}{7}  \times  \: r \:  ^{2}  \\

\\  \sf \implies \: 616 \: \times  \: \frac{7}{22}  \:  =  \: \: r \:  ^{2}  \\

\\  \sf \implies \:  \: \frac{ \:  \: 4312 \:  \: }{22}  \:  =  \: \: r \:  ^{2}  \\

\\  \sf \implies \:  \:  \cancel{\frac{ \:  \: 4312 \:  \: }{22}  }\:  =  \: \: r \:  ^{2}  \\

\\  \sf \implies \:  \:   \: 196 \:  \: =  \: \: r \:  ^{2}  \\

\\  \sf \implies \:  \:r \:  ^{2}  =    \: 196 \:  \:   \: \:  \\

\\  \sf \implies \:  \:r \:   =    \sqrt{ \: 196 \:  } \\

\\  \bf \implies \:  \:Radius  \:   =    14 \: cm \\

henceforth, the Radius of a circle is 14 cm ...!!

Given that x = 5.4 m and 0 = 26°, work out BC rounded to 3 SF.
bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

BC ≈ 4.85 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the cosine ratio in the right triangle

cos26° = \frac{adjacent}{hypotenuse} = \frac{BC}{AC} = \frac{BC}{5.4} ( cross- multiply )

5.4 × cos26° = BC , then

BC ≈ 4.85 m ( to 3 s f )
