Answer:

12.

m∠ACB = 180° - 58° - 78° = 44°

m∠DCE = 180° - 85° - 60° = 35°

m∠BCD = 180° - 44° - 35° = 101°

13.

Base on the picture, we know that:

x° + 2x° + 3x° = 180°

6x°                 = 180°

x°                   =  180° ÷ 6 = 30°

=> m∠K = 2x° = 2 × 30° = 60°

=> m∠L = 3x° = 3 × 30° = 90°

=> m∠KML = x° = 30°

m∠LMN =  60° + 90° = 150°

Solve the system x+3=22 2x-y=2
steposvetlana [31]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

x = 19, y = 36

Discussion:

x + 3 = 22     (*)

2x - y = 2      (**)

Subtract 3 from both sides of (*)

x + 3 -3 = 22 = 3 = 19  =>

x = 19

Substitute x= 19 in (**)

2(19) - y = 2 =>

38 - y = 2 =>           (add y to both sides)

38 -y + y = 2 + y =>

38 = 2 + y  =>         (subtract 2 from both sides)

38 -2 = 2 -2 + y =>

36 = y

James is putting a fence around his square yard. The area of his yard is 100 square feet. How much fencing does James need in to
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

40 ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

Because James's yard is a square, we can take the square root of the area to find the side length. The square root of 100 is 10, so we know that one side of his yard will require 10 feet of fencing. Since the yard has 4 sides, we simply need to do 4 * 10 = 40 ft of fencing.

Hope this helps!

Tasya [4]

Answer:

B. A dilation with a scale factor of 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

A. is wrong because it is congruent transformation because reflections keep the angles and side lengths of the figure the same.

B. is right because it is NOT congruent because a dilation of any scale factor other than 1 results in a similar figure, because the side lengths are proprtional but not equivalent

C.  is wrong because translations keep the angles and side lengths of the figure the same.

D. is wrong because a scale factor of 1 changes nothing about the figure.
