Answer: M is 1.75
               P is 2.5

To find M and P, you have to find the midpoints between the two numbers they lie between.

Find the midpoints by adding those two numbers up and dividing by 2.
Ex. Midpoint of 1 and 2
      1 + 2 = 3
      3/2 = 1.5
      The midpoint of 1 and 2 is 1.5.

Ex. Midpoint of 5 and 9
      5 + 9 = 14
      14/2 = 7
      The midpoint of 5 and 9 is 7.

You can also apply this same concept to decimals.
Ex. Midpoint of 7.9 and 5.6
      7.9 + 5.6 = 13.5
      13.5/2 = 6.75
      The midpoint of 7.9 and 5.6 is 6.75.

Use this knowledge to solve questions similar to this.

Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

31.177 m

Step-by-step explanation:

So the formula of a hexagon is  Area = (3√3 s^2)/ 2

s = side in this problem.  A hexagon is made up of 6 equilateral triangles, so the distance from the center is equal to each of the sides.

For this problem, plug and chug.  Plug your knowns into equation and you will find the answer.

s^2 = (2√3)^2 = 12

Area = (3√3 x 12)/2 = 31.1769 m

I am not sure how many decimals you are supposed to round, probably 3 so in that case 31.177 m

When salt and water are combined, they form a salt or saline solution. How much ml of water must be added to 150 mL of an 80% sa
Vinvika [58]

Answer:

We must add 400 ml of water.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use the following equation:

C_{i}V_{i}=C_{f}V_{f}

Where:

  • C(i) is the initial concentration of the solution (80%)
  • C(f) is the final concentration of the solution (30%)
  • V(i) is the initial volume (150 ml)
  • V(f) is the final volume

Now, we just need to solve the equation for V(f).

V_{f}=\frac{C_{i}V_{i}}{C_{f}}

V_{f}=\frac{80*150}{30}

V_{f}=400\: ml

Therefore, we must add 400 ml of water.

I hope it helps you!

What is the difference?
slega [8]

Answer:

<h3>The answer is option D.</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

First we must first find the LCM

The LCM of x² + 3x + 2 and (x + 2)(x + 1 ) is

x² + 3x + 2

So we have

\frac{x}{ {x}^{2} + 3x + 2 }  -  \frac{1}{(x + 2)(x + 1)}  \\  \\  =  \frac{x - 1}{ {x}^{2} + 3x + 2 }

Hope this helps you
