Answer:

Mai

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the rate, you must determine who is going faster per minute. To do this, you must divide the total number of miles by the total number of minutes.

Mai: 5 miles / 15 minutes = 1/3 miles per minute

Jada: 4 miles / 14 minutes = 2/7 miles per minute

Then, use a common denominator to make calculations easier:

Mai: 1/3 * 7/7

Jada: 2/7 * 3/3

You should get:

Mai: 7/21 miles per minute

Jada: 6/21 miles per minute

By looking at this, you can see that Mai is traveling slightly faster, going more miles than Jada per minute.

Lines a and b in the figure above are parallel. What is the value of p?
elena-s [515]
It will be c- 20:
4q and 2(q+30) have to equal the same therefore q=30 which makes both these equations equal.
3p + 4q then have to equal 180 as they are on a straight line so you know q=30 so 4x30=120 so 180-120=60
Then 60/3=20 and that is your answer.
Hope this helps :)

F(x)=3x and g(x)=x+2 find fog(x),gof(x),fog(2),gof(2)
Gala2k [10]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

fog(x)=f(g(x)) =f(x+2) =3⋅(x+2) =3x+6

gof(x)=g(f(x))=g(3x) =3x+2

gof(2)=3⋅2+2 =6+2 =8

fog(2)=3⋅(2+2) =3*2+6=12
