Answer;

= 1.778 kJ

Explanation;

Considering the following;

Molar mass of lead = 207

Heat of fusion: 4.77 kJ x mol^-1

Specific heat: 0.134 J x g^-1xC^-1

Heat required to raise its temp from 297 k to (328+273)k

= 23 × 0.134 × (601-297)

=936 .928 Joules

Heat required to change its state from solid to liquid

= (23/207) moles ×4.77 kJ/mol

= 0.53 kJ or 530 Joules

Heat required to raise the temp from 601 k to 702 k

=23 × 0.134 ×101

= 311.282 Joules

Therefore; 311.282 + 530 + 936.928 = 1778.21 Joules

Thus; = 1.778 kJ

Annette [7]
It varies with container, temperature, pressure and amount of gas. But, the volume occupied by a gas at a fixed temperature and pressure remains constant which is 22.4 L for 1 mole at STP.

Why wouldn’t a tennis player with two sneakers “bond” to any other tennis players? Why wouldn’t a helium atom with two electrons
aleksklad [387]

Answer:

Explained below.

Explanation:

A tennis player with two sneakers wouldn't bond to any other tennis player because he is already stable and complete with the 2 and doesn't need another players assistance to make him stand well.

However, helium atom with two electrons wouldn't bond to any other atoms because it is stable. This stability arises from the fact that it has two protons and 2 electrons, of which the 2 electrons completely fill its valence shell/outer most shell to make it neutral.

Select the true statements about eicosanoids. a. Eicosanoids are broken down within seconds to inactive residues. b. Arachidonic
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer: the true statements about eicosanoids includes options A,B,D,E

Explanation:

EICOSANOIDS are mostly produced from the precursor arachidonic acid, a C20 polyunsaturated fatty acid. They are broken down within seconds to inactive residues after synthesis.High concentrations of eicosanoids are necessary for effective action.The three major types of eicosanoids includes:

-prostaglandins,

- thromboxanes, and

- leukotrienes.

Depending on the above types mentioned, they play a role in inflammation, pain, fever promotion, blood pressure regulation, and blood clotting. They also influence the immune response and certain respiratory and reproductive processes.

However, eicosanoids are NOT transported in the blood stream to their site of action RATHER they exert their effects on the tissue where they are synthesized.
