Answer:

Y = \frac{X}{3} - 9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation of first line as

Y = -3X + 4

Slop of the first line (m1) = -3

As first line is parallel to second line , then (m1) × (m2) = - 1

i.e m2 = \frac{-1}{m1}

m2 = \frac{-1}{-3}

m2 = \frac{1}{3}

Now equation of seconf line with points (9 , -6) and slop \frac{1}{3}

i.e equation of new line Y - y1 = m2 (X - x1)

                                       Y + 6= \frac{1}{3}

Y = \frac{X}{3} - \frac{9}{3} - 6

Hence equation of new line is

Y = \frac{X}{3} - 9    Answer

kvv77 [185]

Rick started with 10/10 of the grapes because he had all of them at the start.

Then he gave 2/10 and 4/10 of the grapes away.

10/10 - 2/10 - 4/10 = 4/10 = 2/5 left

answer: Rick had 2/5 of the grapes left.

Two coplanar lines that are perpendicular to the same line are parallel.
Semenov [28]

Coplanar lines are <u>lines</u> that lie on the same <u>plane</u>.

Theorem: If two <u>coplanar lines</u> are <u>perpendicular</u> to the same  line, then the two lines are <u>parallel</u> to each other.

This theorem is true always, therefore, given statement is true always.
