Answer: $357

Step-by-step explanation:

Given , The rate of commission earned by Mike on selling 1 TV set = 8.5%= 0.085 [ To convert percent into decimal we divide it by 100]

Cost of 1 TV = $120

Then , Commission he earns on selling 1 TV = (Rate of commission) x(Cost of 1 TV)

= (0.085) x (120)

= $10.2

That means , the commission he will earn on selling 365 TV sets = 35 x (Commission he earns on selling 1 TV )

= 35 x (10.2) = $357

Hence, he will make $357 as commission if store sells 35 TV sets.

$30 per hour it cut off pls help i give brainlest if it’s correct
tankabanditka [31]

Answer:

t  = 4 h

Step-by-step explanation:

Painter A   initial fee 40 $  and each hour charge 45 $

Painter B   initial fee 100 $ and each hour charge  30 $

The equations for painters are straight lines.

The initial fee is the intercept of the line with the y-axis ( painters receive 40 and 100 $ respectively and they have done nothing.

The equation for a straight line is:

y = m*x + b       where m is the slope and b the intercept with the y-axis

Then

Painter A     when x = 0  y = b = 40

And  each hour of work cost 45 $   then f  x = t  in hours

The equation for Painter A is   y  = 45*t  + 40

Similarly, the equation for Painter B is

y  = 30*t + 100

We have a two equations system, the solution will indicate when the two painters will charge the same amount of money

y  =  45*t  + 40      (1)

y  =  30*t  + 100     (2)

Equation 1 - equation 2

0  =  15*t  - 60

15*t  =  60

t  = 60/15

t  = 4 h

dem82 [27]

Answer:

They'll walk 140.28 miles in 42 hours at that pace.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the distance they can travel at a steady pace, we need to take the pace in wich they intend to travel and multiply it by the time that they intend to travel. In this case their pace is 5 miles every 1.5 hours it means that their pace is 5/1.5 = 3.34 m/h, if they travel for 42 hours they'll travel a distance of:

distance = 3.34*42 = 140.28 miles

loris [4]

Answer:\dfrac{7}{13}

Step-by-step explanation:

There are only two games basketball and baseball.

Any student who plays could play basketball or baseball.

Given that there are 26 students in total.

Given that there are 12 students who don't play any game at all.

So,there are 26-12=14 students who play play some baseball or basketball.

Probability=\frac{\text{number of favourable outcomes}}{\text{total number of outcomes}}

The required probability is \frac{14}{26}=\frac{7}{13}
