I think 3 containers. 1 1/2+ 1 1/2= 3 , you need 3/4 (.75) more so the answer is 3.

A hotel is building a large new aquarium for their lobby. They know the length from the top corner to the opposite bottom corner
nignag [31]

Answer:

 • 3 ft, 144 ft³

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the width as below

 • l² + w² + h² = d², where l- length, w- width, h- height, d- the distance between top and bottom corners

Substitute the values and solve for w

 • 4² + w² + 12² = 13²
 • w² + 160 = 169
 • w² = 9
 • w = 3 feet

Now find the volume

 • V = lwh
 • V = 4*3*12 = 144 ft³

A stove costs $695 will be on sale next week for 20% off its regular price. What is the amount of savings
jonny [76]

Answer:

It would be 139$

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find a percent of a value you first move the decimal place over 2 to the left or divide by 100(percentage is no longer there). In this case it would be .20. You multiply that with the total number(695) and the product is your answer.

Let R(x)=3x^3+2x^2+x and S(x)=4+1. Find R(x) * S(x)

Pls help!!!!
Katarina [22]

3x^3 x 4x^2 = 12x^5

3x^3 x 1 = 3x^3

2x^2 x 4x^2 = 8x^4

2x^2 x 1 = 2x^2

1x x 4x^2 = 4x^3

1x x 1 = 1x

12x^5 + 3x^3 + 8x^4 + 2x^2 + 4x^3 + 1x

Simplify

12x^5 + 7x^3 + 8x^4 + 2x^2 + 1x

Thus, answer is B

Hope this helps!
