Hi!

Well, the answer is 1.00
You see, we call the first number after the decimal "tenth" in this case that number is 9. If the digit in the next smallest place value is less than five, you leave the digit you want to round to as-is. Any digits after that number become zeros. This is called rounding down.If the next smallest place value is greater than or equal to five, you increase the value of the digit you're rounding to by one . Just like before, any remaining digits before the decimal point become zeros, and any that are after the decimal point are drop-offs This is called rounding up!

Paula's house is assessed at $213,000, and her property tax rate is 2.9%. How
NARA [144]

Answer:A

Step-by-step explanation:

She is taxed at a rate of 2.9%, so each year she is taxed 213000 * 2.9% . calculating this, we find that every year, she must pay 6177 in taxes. However, we need the amount in a month, so we divide by 12, to get 6177/12= 514.75, or A

A circle is cut into congruent sections and arranged to form a figure that approximates a parallelogram. Find the approximate he
Solnce55 [7]

Answer:

<h2>The height is 3.43 centimeters, approximately.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that there are 16 pieces from the circle, which means each sector has an angle of

\theta = \frac{360\°}{16}=22.5\°

Where all sectors have equal area.

Now, the area of the whole circle is 12.25 \pi \ cm^{2}, if we use the formula of its area, we'll find the radius of the circle

A= \pi r^{2}\\ 12.25\pi = \pi r^{2}\\ r=\sqrt{12.25} \approx  3.5

Notice that each piece works as an isosceles triangle, because each side is the radius, that is, they have the same length. So far, we know the sides of the isosceles triangle and one internal angle.

To find the height of the one piece, we need to use trigonometric reasons, because the height divides a triangle in two equal right triangles.

cos(11.25\°)=\frac{h}{3.5}\\ h=3.5 \times cos(11.25 \°)\\h \approx 3.43

Therefore, the height is 3.43 centimeters, approximately.

kaheart [24]

Answer:

$7.25 at part-time job

$9.00 every time lawn mowed

so he would get 33.33 day so we will just say 33 times to get 300 dollars if he gets $9 for mowing.  And 41.37  hours to get $300 and he would have to use x and y graph to find the boundary line.
