W-1/4= 3/7

W-1/4+1/4= 3/7+1/4

find the common denominator for the fractions

common denominator is 28

Multiply by 4 , top and bottom for 3/7

Multiply by 7 , top and bottom for 1/4

W= 12/28+7/28

W= 19/28

Answer is W= 19/28

jesse has 18 cups of flour to make 78 pancakes . how many pancakes can jesse make with 12 cups of flour
Lynna [10]
78÷18=4.3333333
so it's 4.33333 many pancakes with one cup
so then you multiply 4.33333... by 12 which equals 52

So you can make 52 pancakes with 12 cups of flour

Write one sine and one cosine equation for each graph below.
pychu [463]

Answer:

Q13. y = sin(2x – π/2); y = - 2cos2x

Q14. y = 2sin2x -1; y = -2cos(2x – π/2) -1

Step-by-step explanation:

Question 13

(A) Sine function

y = a sin[b(x - h)] + k

y = a sin(bx - bh) + k; bh = phase shift

(1) Amp = 1; a = 1

(2) The graph is symmetrical about the x-axis. k = 0.

(3) Per = π. b = 2

(4) Phase shift = π/2.

2h =π/2

h = π/4

The equation is

y = sin[2(x – π/4)} or

y = sin(2x – π/2)

B. Cosine function

y = a cos[b(x - h)] + k

y = a cos(bx - bh) + k; bh = phase shift

(1) Amp = 1; a = 1

(2) The graph is symmetrical about the x-axis. k = 0.

(3) Per = π. b = 2

(4) Reflected across x-axis, y ⟶ -y

The equation is y = - 2cos2x

Question 14

(A) Sine function

(1) Amp = 2; a = 2

(2) Shifted down 1; k = -1

(3) Per = π; b = 2

(4) Phase shift = 0; h = 0

The equation is y = 2sin2x -1

(B) Cosine function

a = 2, b = -1; b = 2

Phase shift = π/2; h = π/4

The equation is

y = -2cos[2(x – π/4)] – 1 or

y = -2cos(2x – π/2) - 1

If 5% of the total sale is 125 dollars what is the value of the ticket sale
RideAnS [48]
So the question is
:
5% of total sale is 125

'of' means mutiply
'is' means equals

percent means parts out of 100
5%=5/100=1/20
so now we have
1/20 times total sale=125
multiply both sides by 20 to clear fraction
20/20 times total sale=2500
1 times total sale=2500
total sale=2500
answer is total sale=$2500<span />
