Perpendicular equations have negative reciprocal slopes. All that means is " flip " the slope and change the sign. That means if the slope of line A is 7 (or 7/1), then the slope of line B is......" flip the slope ".....1/7.....and change the sign.. -1/7 <== slope of line B
