Answer:

12.5 rad/s²

Explanation:

Angular Acceleration: This can be defined as the ratio of linear acceleration and radius. The S.I unit is rad/s²

From the question,

a = αr................... Equation 1

Where a = linear acceleration, α = angular acceleration, r = radius.

But,

a = (v-u)/t.............. Equation 2

Where v = final velocity, u = initial velocity, t = time.

Substitute equation 2 into equation 1

(v-u)/t = αr

make α the subject of the equation

α = (v-u)/tr................. Equation 3

Given: v = 30 m/s, u = 0 m/s, t = 6 s, r = 0.4 m

Substitute into equation 3

α = (30-0)/(0.4×6)

α = 30/2.4

α = 12.5 rad/s²

If you ride an elevator moving forward with a constant speed, is your apparent weight same,greater than or less than your weight
wlad13 [49]
If the elevator's speed is constant (in ANY direction) and you can't see out of it, then there's NO measurement you can make inside that will tell you that it's moving. Any weight you measure is normal.

The weight of the North American P-51 Mustang airplane is 10,100 lb and its wing platform area is 233 ft2 . Calculate the wing l
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer

given,

weight of airplane,W = 10,100 lb

Wing area,A = 233 ft²

now,

Wing Loading Calculation in English engineering

        = \dfrac{W}{A}

        = \dfrac{10,100}{233}

        = 43.35 lb/ft²

Wing Loading in SI unit

        = 43.35\times \dfrac{4.448\ N}{1\ lb}\times (\dfrac{1\ ft}{0.3048})^2

        = 2075.51\ N/m^2

Wing loading in kgf/m²

      = \dfrac{2075.51}{9.81}

      = 211.57 kgf/m²

Q|C Review. A particle of mass 4.00kg is attached to a spring with a force constant of 100 N/m . It is oscillating on a friction
Nezavi [6.7K]

The change in energy after the collision is <u>0.5</u>

<u />

<h3>What is change in energy?</h3>

This refers to the difference in the energy where energy is the capacity to do work.  There different forms of energy they include mechanical energy, solar energy, electrical energy and so on.

The energy described in the problem is mechanical energy and it is of two types kinetic energy and potential energy

<h3>solving for the change in energy as a result of the collision</h3>

where mass of particle mp = 4 kg

mass of object mb = 6 kg

force constant of spring k = 100 N/m

amplitude A = 2 m

kinetic energy = 1/2 mv^2

initial velocity u = Aω

ω = sqrt ( 100/ 4 )

u = 2 sqrt ( 100/ 4 )

u = 10m/s

final velocity v = 5 m/s

change in energy

= - 0.5 * ( 4 + 4 ) * 5^2 + 0.5 * 4 * 10^2 ) / 0.5 * 4 * 10^2

= 0.5

What is refraction and reflection
timofeeve [1]

Answer:

Reflection is simply the property of a light that rebounds or bounces back after hitting a surface.

Refraction is when the light, which passes through a surface, undergoes some changes in appearance whenever it usually passes through a medium.
