6 0

Answer:

a) 4,3,6,7,9

Step-by-step explanation:

<em>The value of standard deviation does not get affected if we add constant number in every observation.</em>

In the given data set if we add 1 in every observation then we will get same value as given in option (a).

Thus, the standard deviation of both the observation is same.

Also, we didn't get other options by addition and subtraction of any constant value.

Further, Standard Deviation is used to measure spread of the data and it is defined as square of the distance between the observation and mean of the distribution.

PLEASE HELP!Which of the following statements correctly describes how to tell when a function is positive over a given interval.
denis-greek [22]

Answer: The functions values are greater than 0 over the interval.

Step-by-step explanation:

To tell if a function is positive over a given interval, see if it's below the x-axis or if it's under (since the x-axis represents 0).

  • If it's below, it's less than zero.
  • If it is above, it's greater than zero.

If the interval is above the x-axis, it's positive (greater), and if it's below, it's negative (less).

Each week, a cook purchases 12 pounds of butter. During the last year, the cook has paid as little as $23.04 and at much as $29.
Tatiana [17]

Each week, a cook purchased 12 LBS. of Butter:

During the Last year:  (12 Months):

Cook Paid:

Little:   $23.04

Much:  $29.40, For Butter he or she purchased in a week:

Question: is: what is the Difference between, the Greatest price per pound, and the least price per pound of butter the cook paid within the last year?

EQUATION:

Least Paid / 12  =====>  23.04 /12

Most Paid / 12  ======>    29.40 / 12

Divide:

23.04 / 12    =     1.92 / LB

29.40 / 12     =     2.45 / LB

Now Subtract:

2.45   -     1.92

Answer   ======>    0.53 is the difference, between the greatest price per round, and least price per round of butter the cook would have paid within the last year.

Hope that helps!!!                                : )
