Questionnaire:

1) Do you drink at least 8 cups of water every day?

2) Do you exercise regularly?

3) Do you have a balanced diet?

4) Do you smoke?

5) Do you drink alcohol often?

6) Do you feel tired often?

7) Do you experience often any sort of pain?

8) Do you get sick often?

My mother's answers:

1) I don't think so, maybe around 5 o 6 a day.

2) Yes, about 3 to 4 times a week.

3) Yes.

4) Unfortunately, yes.

5) Only on social events.

6) Yes, I work a lot.

7) Yes, mostly back pain.

8) No, I rarely get sick.

My predictions:

According to the answers my mother gave in this questionnaire, I would assume she isn't in a bad shape but she's not super healthy either. She has a balanced diet and exercises regularly, which are necessary things, but she smokes and that's very unhealthy. Given that she experiences back pain often, I would recommend her to go to the doctor.

galina1969 [7]

Answer:

C) "As long as I have one normal kidney, I should be fine."

Explanation:

The nurse needs to inform the client that multiple cysts are in both kidneys and not only in one of them. Polycystic kidney disease is an inherited disease that can cause the enlargement of the kidneys due to the number of cysts and their growing size, which can lead to dialysis because it makes the kidneys don't work properly.
