First we use our order of operations PEMDAS. So parentheses is first. 8-3 = 5.

Here is the new equation. 9 - 5 ÷ 5 × 2 + 6. Next we divide. 5 ÷ 5 = 1. Next is multiplication. 1 x 2 = 2. Now we have 9 - 2 + 6. 9 - 2 + 6 = 13

So the answer is 13, I hope this helps!

In the year 1998, the surface elevation of Lake Powell was 3881 feet above sea level. In the year 2006, the surface elevation of
Vesna [10]

The surface elevation of Lake Powell is decreasing at the rate of 77.2 feet per year.

What is the rate(slope) at which the sea is decreasing?

The rate at which the surface elevation of the Lake Powell is decreasing can be determined by calculating the slope(steepness) of the sea.

The slope can be given as:

Slope (Δm) = rise/run

Slope (Δm) = Δy/Δx

slope (Δm) = y₂ - y₁/x₂-x₁

slope (Δm) = 3263.4 - 3881/2006-1998

slope (Δm) = -617.6/8

slope (Δm) = -77.2

Therefore, we can conclude that the surface elevation of Lake Powell is decreasing at the rate of 77.2 feet per year.

Anyone know this? I’m having a hard time with it
Orlov [11]

Answer:

75π

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for volume of a cone is (r^2h\pi)/3. If you substitute 5 into the radius and 9 into the height, you get (5^2*9\pi)/3=25*9\pi/3=25*3\pi=75\pi

Find the area of a sector with a central angle of 110° and a diameter of 6 cm. Round to the nearest tenth.
Vikki [24]
=1/2* r^2 * theta
r=D/2=3 cm
theta=110 deg= 1.92 radian.
area=1/2*3*3*1.92 cm2 =8.64 cm2
=8.6 cm2 (approx.)
