For the first group, I would say that each value is separate by 3 from the prior value. For example, 1+3=4 and 4+3=7

For the second one, I would say they are all multiples of 3
3*1=3
3*2=6
3*3=9

Hope this helps

Answer:

  (a, b, c) = (-0.425595, 11.7321, 2.16667)

  f(x) = -0.425595x² +11.7321x +2.16667

  f(1) ≈ 13.5

Step-by-step explanation:

A suitable tool makes short work of this. Most spreadsheets and graphing calculators will do quadratic regression. All you have to do is enter the data and make use of the appropriate built-in functions.

Desmos will do least-squares fitting of almost any function you want to use as a model. It tells you ...

  a = -0.425595

  b = 11.7321

  c = 2.16667

so

  f(x) = -0.425595x² +11.7321x +2.16667

and f(1) ≈ 13.5

_____

<em>Additional comment</em>

Note that a quadratic function doesn't model the data very well if you're trying to extrapolate to times outside the original domain.

8 + 12n – 4n – 7 Another problem pls dont troll or i will report you :)
loris [4]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Do u see any similarities between the numbers? Both 12 and -4 have a variable(N). 8 and -7 dont have a variable, so u have to calculate them individually.

One thing to remember is just because there is a minus sign(-) or a plus sign(+) does not mean its addition or subtraction. its the value of the number. the sign to the left of the number is its value. so left of 12 is plus(+), so its a positive. left of 4 is a minus sign(-) so its a negative 4. lastly, left of 7 is minus sign(-), which means its negative 7. now u add.

lets add the variables first:

12n + (-4n) = 8n

add the regular numbers:

8 + (-7) = 1

so its 8n + 1

If, on their own, it takes 6 hours for Person A to complete a task and 9 hours for Person B to complete the same task, then how
Kisachek [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A does 1/6 of the task per hour.

B does 1/9 of the task per hour.

Together, they do 1/6+1/9 = 5/18 of the task per hour, finishing in 18/5 hours.

18/5 = 3.6 hours

What is the area of a sector bounded by a 126 degree arc?
tino4ka555 [31]

It is given that the radius of circle is 8 cm.

Angle substended by the sector = 126 degree

The expression for the area of sector is :

\text{ Area of sector = }\frac{\theta}{360}\times\Pi\times radius^2

Substitute the value of angle = 126 and radius = 8

\text{ Area of sector = }\frac{\theta}{360}\times\Pi\times radius^2
