Answer:

1. 4(x +3)(x - 3)

2. (11 + 2x)(11 - 2x)

3. 9(x + 3)(x - 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

For 36x^2 - 16,

Taking the common factor of 4 out, we get:

4(x^2 - 9)

4(x +3)(x - 3)   (since we know that x^2 - 9 = (x + 3)(x - 3))

For 121 - 4x^2,

Using the formula a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b), we get:

= (11)^2 - (2x)^2

= (11 + 2x)(11 - 2x)

For 9x^2 - 81,

Taking the common factor of 9 out, we get:

= 9(x^2 - 9)

Now use the formula a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b):

= 9((x)^2 - (3)^2)

= 9(x + 3)(x - 3)

Hope this helps!

<em>Factor</em>

4(3x + 2)(3x - 2)

<u>Step 2:  Answer problem 2</u>

<em>Fact</em>or

(11 + 2x)(11 - 2x)

<u>Step 3:  Answer problem 3</u>

<em>Pull out 9</em>

9(x^2 - 9)

9(x + 3)(x - 3)

Workers at the Pythagorean Construction Company are building a new house. They need to make sure that proper right triangles are
dimaraw [331]
Correct answer:

"<span>If the sum of the squares of the two shorter sides equals the square of the longest side, then the triangle is a right triangle"

the Pythagorean theorem states that in a right triangle, the sum of the squares of the shortest sides is equal to the square of the largest side, the hypotenuse.

Also,
If we have a triangle with side lengths a, b and c, where a and b are the shortest, and "a squared plus b squared = c squared" then the triangle is a right triangle.

6. Emily rides her bike with a constant speed of
qaws [65]

Answer:

42 miles

Step-by-step explanation:

If it's a constant 12 miles per hour then it would be

12 mph x 3 hours = 36

then you would add that with the 1/2 hour for

12 mph x 1/2 hours = 6

36 + 6 = 42 miles traveled

How to algebraically find the limit of a function as x approaches infinity?
Sauron [17]

Well... One way you can do this is by testing a set of arrays and see the trend. If I chose to find what y1 is in (100, y1) and what y2 is in (101, y2), I would find the difference between y2 and y1. If y2 - y1 is positive, this means there is a positive relationship and y is also approaching POSITIVE infinity. A negative relation means that it is approaching NEGATIVE infinity. However, it could be approaching a single number like "4" for instance, and you just need to plug in the right number of data sets to make that educated guess.

Formula Example:
5 + 1 / (x + 1) will always approach 5 because "1 / (x + 1) will approach 0".

Hope this helps.
