The answer is 20%. Let me explain.
There are a total of 20 people that surveyed right?
If 10 chose soccer and 6 chose golf that's 16 athletes that chose another sport other than football.
20 people minus the 16 non-football lovers equals 4.
So 4 people chose football.
That means 4/20 as a fraction.
As a percent (because a percent is always out of one hundred) it's 20% because if you multiplied the denominator to get a base of 100 and multiplied the same number to the numerator you'd get 20/100.
The number would be five because 5*20=100.
You'd change that fraction to a percent which makes it 20%. Hope this helped

4÷20 is 0.2
0.2×100
is 20
so 20%

Ella has 0.5 lbs of sugar. How much water should she add to make the following concentrations? Tell Ella how much syrup she will
AfilCa [17]

I'm guessing the % of syrup refers to the % of sugar it has, therefore:

50% = 50 / 100 = 0.5

0.5 * x = 0.5

x = 0.5/0.5

x = 1

She will have 1 lbs of syrup
