G(x) = 13.2x³ + 3x4 -x-4.4
Kisachek [45]

The given polynomial has a degree of 4, the leading coefficient is 3, and the constant is 4.4.

<h3>What is a polynomial?</h3>

A polynomial is an algebraic expression with terms that are the combination of variables, coefficients, and constants.

  • The highest power of the variable is said to be the degree of the polynomial.
  • The coefficient of the highest power variable is said to be the leading coefficient.

<h3>Calculation:</h3>

The given polynomial is

g(x) = 13.2x³ + 3x⁴ - x - 4.4

The highest power of the variable x is 4. So, the degree of the variable is 4.

Then, the leading coefficient is 3.

The constant on the given polynomial is 4.4.

3. For the equation-4y = &amp;r, what is the constant of variation? (1 point)<br> ООО<br> 02
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

3).

- 4y = 8x \\ \frac{y}{x} = \frac{8}{ - 4} \\ \frac{y}{x} = - 2 \\ y = - 2x \\ hence \: constant \: is \: - 2

4).

y \alpha x \\ y = kx \\ where \: k \: is \: the \: constant \: of \: proportionality \\ when \: y = 24 \: and \: x = 8 \\ substitute \: in \: y = kx \\ 24 = 8k \\ k = \frac{24}{8} \\ k = 3 \\ value \: of \: constant = 3

If it was by 10, k = 3 by 10

k = 30

5).

general \: equation \: of \: line \\ y = mx + c \\ but \: m = \frac{2}{3} \: and \: c = 9 \\ substitute \: for \: m \: and \: c \: in \: y = mx + c \\ y = \frac{2}{3} x + 9 \\ alternatively \\ 3y = 2x + 27

1+4=5 2+5=12 3+6=21 8+11=?
ziro4ka [17]
Okay so we just need to find out the pattern...
in this case the pattern is adding..
we did
1 + 4 = 5
2 + 5 = 12
we figure this one out by adding 2 and 5 twice so it look like this
2 + 5 + 5 = 12
now moving on to our next one
3 + 6 = 21
so we added 3 and added 6, three times so look
3 + 6 + 6 + 6 = 21
so now
8 + 11 = 96 because we added 8 and added 11, eight times look..
8 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 + 11 = 96
so our answer to 8 + 11 is 96!
hope this helps:)
and don't forget 2
