Answer:

The answer is 15

Step-by-step explanation:

She found that the area of the garden will be 127 and one-half square feet by using the equation Area = b h. If the height, h, of the parallelogram-shaped garden is 8 and one-half feet, what is the base, b, in feet? Hmm so it says that base times height equals 127 and one half square feet and the height is 8 and one half feet so you guessed it you have to divided 127 and one half square feet by 8 and one half feet which is 15.

Hope this helped for you understanding how to do this problem have a great day!

Karl is buying a new car. At bank a car loan will cost him 11.5%. At bank B, it will cost 12.25% if he borrows $8,00, how much w
Gala2k [10]
I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that you mean to type $8,000.

If so then he will be saving $60.

The way I found that was by multiplying the $8,000 by the %s in decimal form

So, 8,000*0.115= 920

And, 8,000*0.1225= 980

980-920=60. Karl is saving $60

the ratio of the areas of two similar polygons is 81:64. If the perimeter of the first polygon is 32 cm, what is the perimeter o
marta [7]

In two similar polygons, the ratio of their areas is the square of the ratio of their sides. If the sides of any polygon are a and b then :

Ratio of area =a^{2} :b^{2}

Given ratio of area =81:64

Or 81:64=a^{2} :b^{2}

Taking root of both sides

9:8=a:b

The ratio of perimeter of any two similar polygon is equal to the ratio of sides.

Ratio of perimeter = a:b

Perimeter of first polygon is 32 cm.

Let the perimeter of second polygon be x.

32:x=a:b

Or, 32:x=9:8

\frac{32}{x} =\frac{9}{8}

Cross multiplying

9x= (32)(8)

9x=256

Dividing both sides by 9

x=28.4.

The perimeter of second polygon is 28.4cm.
