Chemistry

The difference starts with sigma bonds. Electrons are disabled by nuclear attraction from both bonding nuclei, while within pi bonds, electrons are loosely held in the general proximity of either bonding nucleus. All pi bonds are naturally delocalisable. People are most commonly used to call it “double bond character,” but since it can occur for triple bonds as well as bonding that never even fully constitutes a double bond, stigma character and pi character are more appropriate, in my opinion.

The idea that the earth is divided into a number of small plates that float on the mantle and slide,collide,and slip past each o
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

Theories

Explanation:

It is theories because it was a generalistee abstract or thinking generalising the principle of fact about Earth tectonic plates ,it was formulated and concluded as plate tectonic theories after many findings. The theories conclude that the Earth has an outer layer called lithosphere and lies overly a plastic layer called asthenosphere. The lithosphere is divided into several plates and they move close to each other where they diverge, converge or slip over one another.

Silver has two naturally isotopes and has an atomic mass of 107.868 amu. One isotope is Ag-109 isotope (108.905 amu) and has a n
Triss [41]

Answer:  106.905

Explanation: If there are only 2 isotopes, and 1 of them is 48.16%, the second must, by default, be (100 - 48.16%) = 51.84% The final, averaged, atomic mass is 107.868. This is made up of each isotope's atomic mass times the percentage of that isotope in the total sample. The weighted value of the known isotope (109) plus that of the unknown must come to the observed value of 107.868 amu. (107.868 - 52.45 = 55.42). Divide that by the % for that isotope (55.42/0.5184) = 106.90 amu for the second isotope.

Atomic Mass % of Sample Weighted Value

    108.905         48.16%              52.45

          X               51.84%              55.42

                                                     107.87

      X = (55.42/0.5184) = 106.90 amu

__ CaSO4 + ____AIP --> ____Ca3P2 + ____AI2(SO4)3
4vir4ik [10]

Answer:

4.89 mol

Explanation:

Step 1: Write the balanced equation

This is a double displacement reaction.

3 CaSO₄ + 2 AIP ⇒ Ca₃P₂ + AI₂(SO₄)₃

Step 2: Establish the appropriate molar ratio

According to the balanced equation, the molar ratio of CaSO₄ to AlP is 3:2.

Step 3: Calculate the moles of AlP needed to react with 7.33 moles of CaSO₄

We will use the previously established molar ratio.

7.33 mol CaSO₄ × 2 mol AlP/3 mol CaSO₄ = 4.89 mol AlP
