Bisque is a creamy soup of French origin usually made from seafood such as lobster and shrimp. But Bisque is also called the creamy soup made with vegetables. The "stuffing" of the soup does not matter much, the important thing is that this soup has a consistency similar to a heavy cold cream, to be considered bisque.
