Using the formula for vapour pressure,

vapour pressure = 151 ×  (1-X_{pen}) + 425 × X_{pen}

240 = 151 - 151X_{pen} + 425X_{pen}

240 - 151 = -  151X_{pen} + 425 X_{pen}
