Let x = pounds of $12 per pound coffee

then

20-x = pounds of $9 per pound coffee

.

12x + 9(20-x) = 10(20)

12x + 180 - 9x = 200

3x + 180 = 200

3x = 20

x = 20/3

x = 6 and 2/3 pounds of $12 per pound coffee

.

Amount of $9 per pound coffee:

20-x = 20-20/3 = 60/3 - 20/3 = 40/3

or

13 and 1/3 pounds of $9 per pound coffee

Sakura speaks 150150150 words per minute on average in Hungarian, and 190190190 words per minute on average in Polish. She once
d1i1m1o1n [39]

Answer:

300 words in Hungarian and 570 in Polish.

Step-by-step explanation:

I guess you need to know the number of words in Hungarian and in Polish.

Let H be the words he said in Hungarian, and P the words he said in Polish.

We are told that Sakura uttered a total of 270 more words in Polish than in Hungarian, therefore:

P = H + 270

And that I speak for 5 minutes, we know that the speed of words in Hungarian is 150 and in Polish it is 190, therefore:

5 = H / 150 + P / 190

Thus we have two equations and two unknowns, that is, it has a solution, replacing P:

5 = H / 150 + (H +270) / 190

5 = (190 * H + 150 * H + 270 * 150) / (150 * 190)

5 * 150 * 190 = 340 * H + 270 * 150

H = (5 * 150 * 190 - 270 * 150) / 340

H = 300

Therefore he said 300 words in Hungarian.

In Polish it would be:

P = 300 + 270 = 570

To check we have to:

300/150 + 570/190 = 5

Therefore, Sakura giving the instructions said 300 words in Hungarian and 570 in Polish.

Find the three angles of a triangle if the sum of the first angle and twice the second equals the third and, and if four times t
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

First Angle = 45°

Second Angle = 30°

Third Angle = 105°

Step-by-step explanation:

First angle + 2(Second angle ) = Third Angle

4(second angle) = Third Angle + 15°

or, Third angle = 4(second angle)  - 15° ...(1)

⇒First angle + 2(Second angle )  = 4(second angle)  -  15°

or, First angle  = 2(second angle)  -  15° ... (2)

Now by ANGLE SUM PROPERTY of a triangle:

First angle+ Second angle + Third Angle  = 180°

Now, putting the values of (1) , (2) in above expression,

{2(Second angle)  -  15° } +  Second angle +{ 4(second angle)  - 15°} = 180°

is the required equation.

or, 7(Second angle) - 30° = 180°

or, 7(Second angle)  =   30° +   180°  =  210°

⇒ Second angle = 210°/ 7  = 30°

Now, First angle  = 2(second angle)  -  15°

                              = (2 x 30°)  - 15°  = 45°

and, Third angle = 4(second angle)  - 15°

                            = 4 x 30°  - 15°  =  120 - 15°  = 105°

C = to squares diagonal length

Pythagoras theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2

5^2+5^2=c^2
25+25=c^2
50=c^2
square root so c would be about 7.071

Since the diagonal is less than the diameter of the circle, the square will fit inside without touching the edge
