4 0

Answer:

1st sphere has r1 = 6

=> Surface area S1 = 4 x pi x r1^2 = 4 x pi x 6^2 = 144pi

=> Volume V1 = (4/3) x pi x r1^3 = (4/3) x pi x 6^3 =288pi

2nd sphere has r1 = 15

=> Surface area S1 = 4 x pi x r1^2 = 4 x pi x 15^2 = 900pi

=> Volume V1 = (4/3) x pi x r1^3 = (4/3) x pi x 15^3 =4500pi

=> S1/S2 = 144pi/900pi = 0.16

=> V1/V2 = 288pi/4500pi = 0.064

Hope this helps!

The volume of a gas in a container varies inversely with the pressure on the gas. A container of helium has a volume of 370in3 u
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

When two variables vary inversely, it means that an increase in one would lead to a decrease in the other and vice versa. Since the volume of a gas, V in a container varies inversely with the pressure on the gas, P, if we introduce a constant of proportionality, k, the expression would be

V = k/P

If V = 370 in³ and P = 15psi, then

370 = k/15

k = 370 × 15 = 5550

The equation that relates the volume, V, to the pressure, P would be

V = 5550/P

if the pressure was increased to 25psi, the volume would be

V = 5550/25 = 222 in³

Answer:

12) There are 534 students who do not lunch in school.

Step-by-step explanation:

12.

Simple solution:

890 ÷ 5 = 178

Therefore: 1/5 = 178

•To find the 2/5 of the students, we have to multiply 178 by 2

178 × 2 = 356

Therefore, 356 students stay to have lunch.

•To find the remaining students who do not lunch in school, we have to subtract 356 to 890.

890 - 356 = 534

Therefore, there are 534 students who do not lunch in school.
